WebJun 12, 2024 · I'm still looking at the Dtcs codes and there are 104 listed in the OM and only 103 in the specs for the two profiles that I have found will read from the unit (BF-F8HP & GA-55) but I have not scrolled through the unit itself. I also haven't tried characters other than lowercase but it will accept/use lowercase. WebJul 12, 2024 · The CHIRP common code includes a list of 104 generic DCS codes. This is what is used for generic CSV file. The driver for the UV-82 takes this list of 104 codes and adds code 645 to it in order to match the 105 codes that the UV-82 (and other similar Baofeng radios) uses.
WebSep 7, 2024 · Menu 37 RPT-RL disables CTCSS or DCS decoding for up to ~1 second after PTT release and after the Menu 36 RP-STE delay time (if Menu 36 is not OFF). If no receive CTCSS or DCS is set (Menus 10 and 11 both OFF) then Menu 37 has no function. Menu 37 Settings 1 and 2 appear to be the same as OFF and appear to have no effect.
