This leaves the cut case plenty long. Then I size and trim with a GSI International trim die and a Dillon RT-1200 trimmer. I have found that I do not need the hassle of a jig with this setup.

Depending on your rifle's chamber you may need to either neck turn outside or ream inside to reduce wall thickness. If you use a 300 BO case then you will need to form both the shoulder & neck, trim to length, and then still need to neck turn/ream neck. It's quite easy to build uppers as well as lowers from parts. Bench, vice, and less than $100 in tools that you will use on the next build.
